We had the final class for this semester on Tuesday June 9th. Alva joined us for coffee and biscuits and it was a great success. One student made a lovely thank you speech that they wanted me to pass on to everyone involved. All students identified their best part of this class was learning to cook and give them confidence in cooking, working with each other (in their school they may not have the chance to work together so they got to know each other better), and of course meeting the volunteers who were strangers to them - but not for long. They truly appreciate the program, volunteers and the church for hosting them. So, they want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. I would also like to say thank you to everyone - I really enjoy the students and working with them all - I learn as much from them as they do from. If anyone has any questions please contact me.
